Additionally, each desktop environment can be customized by users to suit their specific needs. GNOME is one of the most popular desktop environments out there. I personally enjoy using GNOME because its interface blends a tablet and desktop feel, which perfectly fits my workflow. Some users might not prefer GNOME due to its more limited customization compared to other desktop environments. In this post, I will share several GNOME extensions that I use to make the GNOME interface look more modern while also boosting user productivity.

Fixing Gemini Flickering Issues on Lenovo Xiaoxin

In 2025, I updated the operating system to version 1.1.10.680 on my Lenovo Xiaoxin tablet. However, after the update was completed, I noticed that when opening the Gemini app, the display started flickering rapidly. All menus and buttons within the Gemini app became unresponsive and could not be clicked. Consequently, I tried to close the app by pressing the
Home
button. For your information, I am using the Lenovo Xiaoxin Tablet, model TB331FC.
